Moose's Comment: "The idea behind this movie is deeply attractive to me. A group of talented but misunderstood people, rejected by their society, must band together to protect the society that has scorned them. And no one can do it on their own, so they join forces. Just like in real life, what they accomplish together is far greater than what any one could accomplish alone. And who hasn't felt like a mutant at some point in their life?"

Squirrel's Comment: "Moose can wax as philosophical as he likes about X-Men, but this is still a movie for comic book junkies. I remember looking forward to my father's monthly haircuts, just so I could go along with him and read the comic books the barber shop set out for child-type patrons. The X-Men movies are really the only comic book adaptations that haven't disappointed me greatly. Watching them, I feel like I'm sitting in that barber shop again, waiting for my dad."

Trivia: Hugh Jackman took cold showers to help him create the character Wolverine's trademark 'berserk rage.'
