Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (1966)

8:00 AM - 10:15 AM

Directed By Mike Nichols

Starring Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton, George Segal, Sandy Dennis

Jordan's Comment:  "I'm showing this film because my friend Brandom, from whom I plaigaraized the concept of the film festival, played George in the play on which this film is based.  Edward Albee's play represents the breakdown of American society in the 1960s through the breakdown of two married couples, and Ernest Lehman's film adaptation is completely true to the play. A dark and powerful movie."

Trivia: This was the first movie ever in which the entire cast was nominated for Academy Awards.
