Jordan's Comment: "The Saturday morning animation block of JRFF IV starts with one of the funniest animated movies ever. Shrek was commisioned by fired Disney executive Jeffrey Katzenberg, so the Disney references get a bit over the top and cruel. But the dialogue, particulary from Eddie Murphy's Donkey, is some of the funniest I've ever seen."
Trivia: Chris Farley was originally cast as Shrek, but the role was given to Mike Myers after Farley's death.
