Jordan's Comment: "Is this the worst movie ever made? See it and decide for yourself! Cult director Ed Wood wrote the script, cast several of his friends (including his chiropractor, who replaced Bela Lugosi after Lugosi's death), and shot the film on a shoestring budget funded by a Baptist church. The movie deals with aliens who use a ridiculously complicated 'Plan 9' (the first 8 failed) to take over the Earth, to prevent humans from discovering the secret of solarminite, which can be used to, uh, do stuff.
On second thought, don't worry about the plot. Just enjoy the unintentional hilarity - remember that this was intended as a serious movie."
Trivia: The role of the alien ruler was played by John Breckinridge, a direct descendant of former U.S. Vice President John C. Breckinridge. The younger Breckinridge made this movie in hopes of raising money to travel to Mexico for a sex change operation.
