Jordan's Comment: "I showed this film to my Orlando friends at JRFF I, and it seems like a good film on which to start JRFF IV: Baltimore. I love the Marx Brothers' quick-witted verbal comedy, and Duck Soup is their take on political satire. This is a hilarious movie, but it's also a movie with some serious things to say about international politics."
Trivia: Italian dictator Benito Mussolini banned the film from Italy because he thought it was a direct attack on him. When news of this reached the Marx Brothers, they were reportedly ecstatic.
